Preparing your visit at luckie farms

A little preparation goes a long way

Here is everything you need to know before visiting the farm:

clothing

Wear clothing for the weather with closed toed shoes. Layers are encouraged as we will be outside or in non-climate controlled environments (like a barn).

TIme

Arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled tour. We are a working farm and if you come too early, we might still be out in the fields tending to farm chores.

Plan for the weather

Tours are held rain or shine. We do not cancel tours due to weather conditions.

Smart Essentials

Bring a hat, sunscreen and plenty of water to stay hydrated and protected from the sun or layers to keep warm depending on the weather.

Children

Babes in arms (children under 1) are free for all farm offerings. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

live animals

You will see and interact with live, big animals on our working farm.

All of our parking is free! Follow the parking signs as you drive in.

Location

Just 35 minutes north of Seattle and less than 10 minutes from Everett, our farm is easily accessible.  Traffic may change travel time so please plan accordingly.  Find DIRECTIONS HERE.

Bring your camera or make sure your phone is fully charged as our farm offers a lot of amazing photo opportunities.

Important Health Notice

To keep our reindeer healthy and happy, we kindly ask visitors to wear clean shoes and freshly washed clothing. If you’ve recently been around sheep or goats, please avoid close contact before your visit—this small step goes a long way in protecting our animals.

When are your tours, and how do I purchase tickets? Can I buy them on-site?

Visit luckiefarms.com and click on “book tickets” to view our tour calendar for each offering and purchase tickets. Watch a video on booking a ticket online by clicking on this link. Walk-ups are welcome only if a tour is not full, but availability is not guaranteed. We strongly recommend purchasing tickets online in advance to reserve your spot.  We typically have farm tours every day except Mondays. Once a tour time is full, it no longer shows on the calendar.

Can I visit the farm without paying for a tour?

At this time, the farm is open only to ticketed guests.

How long is the tour?

It depends on what you are booking and the tour times are listed on luckiefarms.com. The offerings range from 1 hour to 1.3 hours.

Can I book a Calf Cuddle Session Without Booking an interactive Farm Tour?

You can book a 20 minute calf cuddle session add on to any Interactive Farm Tour. You will be asked if you want to add a Calf Cuddle Session when checking out for an Interactive Farm Tour. We don't sell calf cuddles separately. We do have other programs geared for calf cuddle time too.

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled tour time. As a working farm, we may be out in the field if you arrive too early.

Is there parking available?

Yes! Follow the parking signs as you drive in.

Can I take photos during the tour?

Absolutely! Our farm is full of photo-worthy moments. Snap selfies with the cows or ask us to take a family photo. Don’t forget to tag us using #luckiefarms on social media!

Can I bring my service dog?

The simple answer: No. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), service animals may be restricted in rare cases where their presence would fundamentally alter the nature of a program. For example, in environments like zoos—or our farm—where animals on display are natural predators or prey of dogs, service animals may cause distress or behavioral disruptions. In such cases, the ADA allows for reasonable restrictions.

Is food or drink available on-site?

We do not offer food or drinks, but we recommend visiting Carleton Farms just down the road. They have a coffee stand and a produce store with great snacks.

How do I contact the farm with questions?

We prefer email to reach us or you can contact us via social media.

General inquiries & bookings: Email info@luckiefarms.org
Day-of-tour or urgent matters that need to be handled via phone call Tara at (425) 470-3610.

How do I cancel or change my reservation?

Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance can be rescheduled via your booking confirmation email by clicking on the “Order Management” link underneath the name and time of ticket purchase. Refunds are not available as your ticket keeps someone else from booking at that time.

Do you close for bad weather?

Tours run rain, shine, or snow. Please dress appropriately—we’ll be outside for much of the experience, though mostly under cover.

Do you host field trips?

Yes! We love hosting youth field trips for all ages. Groups of 12 or more can book a field trip by emailing info@luckiefarms.com or calling Tara at (425) 470-3610.

Can we book a private tour outside of regular times?

For groups of 12 or more, we can often accommodate custom tour times. Contact Tara at info@luckiefarms.com or (425) 470-3610.

Is the farm experience suitable for children? What are the ticket prices?

Yes! The experience is great for all ages.
- Children 2 and under: Free
- Children over 2: Regular ticket price of $30

Why can’t I visit if I’ve recently been around sheep or goats?

Sheep and goats can carry an airborne spore that causes Malignant Catarrhal Fever in reindeer. This spore can live on shoes and clothing.
To protect our herd, please avoid contact with sheep and goats for at least one week before your visit.

Where are you located? How close are you to nearby cities?

We’re less than 10 minutes from Everett, Snohomish, and Marysville, and about 35 minutes north of Seattle**.
- 15 minutes from Boeing Everett Airport
- 45–60 minutes from SeaTac Airport (depending on traffic)
We’re conveniently located near the I-5 Corridor.
