How We Treat Our Animals
Our animals are at the heart of Luckie Farms, and we believe every animal deserves to be treated with kindness, respect, and individualized care.
Many of the animals who call our farm home came to us through rehoming or rescue situations. Some require additional care because of their age, health, or individual needs. From proactive health care to simply paying attention to what each animal is telling us, their comfort and quality of life are always a priority.
We also believe our animals should have a choice in how they interact. If an animal isn't interested in socializing or participating in an experience, we respect that and give them the space they need. We do not practice forced breeding, and we continually adapt our care based on the needs of each individual animal.
Transparency and education are important to us, too. We welcome questions about our animals, our care practices, and farm life in general. If you ever have a question or concern while visiting Luckie Farms, please ask! We love having open conversations and sharing more about the animals in our care.
Luckie Farms does not produce or distribute meat or dairy products from our animals. We are proud, however, to be part of Snohomish County's agricultural community and believe in supporting our fellow local farms whenever we can.
